Board of Directors 2017-2018


President, Thea Morton

Thea has been a practicing massage therapist in Casper, Wyoming since November of 2005 after graduating with her certificate from U.S. Career Institute. She now runs her own business and has enjoyed the many opportunities that massage has given her to learn and grow. She is passionate about myofascial therapy as well as kinesiology and hopes to someday get certified to teach the Gokhale Method. She enjoys the challenge that each client brings and loves growing as the client’s needs change. She is looking forward to working with other massage therapists during her presidency and hopes that she can serve the Wyoming Chapter well.


Board Member, Kelly Weikum

Kelly graduated from the Utah College of Massage Therapy in 2004 and started her private practice in Casper "A Therapeutic Touch Massage." She offers Therapeutic massage, Pre-natal massage and Healing Stone massage.  She is blessed with a wonderful family that is an integral part of her life and views her clients as family.  She has three grand-daughters that are the sunshine of her life. Her favorite saying is "Have an attitude of gratitude.”  She is excited and thankful to serve on the AMTA Wyoming Board because  she believes the power of touch is an amazing thing.  Her hope is that we can better help our families, our clients and each other through this organization and through massage.


Secretary, Barb Rea

Barb joins the AMTA Wyoming Chapter Board after serving many years as a community health professional in her hometown of Casper, Wyoming. Through her work as a Development Director at the Wyoming Medical Center and then the Community Health center she was instrumental in the establishment of several collaborative projects including the Youth Empowerment Council, The Suicide Prevention Task Force and the Children’s Advocacy Center. She also served as a member of the Wyoming Health Care Commission and as a Consumer Advocate for the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. She recently completed an apprenticeship on Maui with Kumu (teacher) Jeana Naluai, studying traditional LomiLomi massage and Hawaiian culture. She is a licensed massage therapist in the State of Hawaii and practices out of her home in Casper.

Board Member, Cassidy Redig

Cassidy is a Licensed Massage Therapist who has owned and operated her business located in the heart of downtown Cheyenne, WY since 2013. Cassidy received her Allied Health Degree in Therapeutic Massage from IBMC. Ever since, her goal has been to give guests the most effective bodywork by practicing multiple modalities to suit the needs of each unique individual. She aims to provide a space where people can come to be grounded and to effortlessly reconnect with their natural selves in a safe and professional environment. She offers Swedish, Deep tissue, Trigger point, Neuromuscular, and Myofascial release. Before massage, Cassidy had many opportunities doing graphic design, social media, and marketing management with multiple local business and a non-profit. These skills certainly helped in building her own business. Now that her business is established, she is looking for ways to put these skills to good use and what better way than working with the Wyoming AMTA Chapter to build up our square state community of massage therapists!
